DLNA Blocker with AX50 in Access Mode
I got an AX50 and installed it in Access Mode with a variety of cable connection running through it. It replaced a D-link router that had been doing the same thing for years. The first thing that I noticed is that a DLNA server I have attached to it with a wire was not showing up on the network. There does not seem to be any settings in access mode that block or allow traffic. I "assumed" it should just act as an open switch.
Any ideas?

I forgot to reply. Installing the newest firmware solved the issue for me. 1.0.9 Build 20200708 rel.55037(5553)
I had to hunt to find the firmware as it does not show up on the Canada support site.

@Red90 Thx for your reply.
I do have the latest firmware installed, but the DLNA-communication between TV and NAS does still not work via the AX50 while in AP-mode.
It only works in router-mode with disabled "IGMP-snooping" and "IGMP Proxy" in the IPTV-settings.
Switching then back to AP-mode does not work, i have to stay in router mode @Kevin_Z.
@TP-Link, please fix this.

Have you tried my previous suggestions that by switching the AX50 to router mode then disable the IGMP snooping and IGMP proxy, then switch it back to AP mode and confirm again?
Or, you are suggested to reset the AX50 to factory defaults by holding the reset button until the LEDs flashes off then on, then reconfigure it from scratch, follow the above steps to check again, thanks.

Hi
I have the same problem. I have firmware 1.0.9 Build 20200708 rel.55037. I must connect my Qnap directly to main router Huwaei - then by cable from Huwaei to AP AX50 - and AX50 to my TV and DLNA is working. Qnap assistant check my disc server and it was OK. Problem is with router AX50

Have you tried the suggestions provided by Alexander_S?
"Either I connect my TV to the router and mind going through the AX50, or I leave the AX50 in router-mode and deactivate "IGMP-snooping" AND "IGMP Proxy" in the IPTV-configs."

Hi, thanks for getting back, we will have to have more details about the issue you are experiencing, then we will check and see if there is a solution.
1. Please provide the detailed network layout/diagram, how is the AX50 connected to the Huawei HS8145V? Is the AX50' WAN to Huawei HS8145V' LAN, or LAN to LAN? You can also try to reconfigure the AX50 into an access point as per this instruction: https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/417/.
2. Is this Qnap connected to the AX50 LAN or Wi-Fi? What is the IP address on it?
3. How did you test the DLNA server is not working? Are you unable to find the Qnap from Xbox? Are you able to find it on some Windows computer?

Qnap is connected by cable so LAN to LAN. His adres is static IP 192.168.100.43

DLNA doesn't work on TV, XBOX and Windows 10. When I connect Qnap to Huwaei router all is working fine. On AX50 DLNA doesn't exist

Thank you very much for getting back with all the details. What if you change the AX50 to router mode, and connect the Huawei HS8145V'LAN to the AX50's WAN, then connect the Qnap and the TV/XBOX/Windows 10 to the AX50, either on LAN or on Wi-Fi, ensure they all obtain the IP address from the AX50 automatically, check if they can communicate.
Switch off the "IGMP-snooping" AND "IGMP Proxy" as well.
