Hi,

For the last 3 weeks my TP Link AV600 has been connected to my PC via Ethernet cable with no issues. Been working perfectly.

Today my PC has no internet connection but the TP Link wifi works fine for laptop / iPhone.

I have connected an extra long ethernet cable to my main router and my PC is connecting to internet just fine.

Can anyone help me solve this issue with AV600 ethernet connection? It seems so weird that it just randomly stopped working today.

I am not particularly PC savvy so please treat me like a 7 year old for any technical explanations... (i can use IP config to check things but this is about the extent of my skills)

Any and all help massively appreciated.

@Mikeyrodge82

I changed it to static IP address and it has seemed to fix the issue.

If anyone can shed any light on this i'd be most grateful.

thx

@Mikeyrodge82

Hi Mike, I have a WPA4220 V4, which stopped generating wifi signal (Wireless led is off). I tried resetting the extender but it doesn't work. At times the Wireless led lights up for a while, I can see the SSID on the phone but when I connect I can't do it because it restarts. Nor can I connect via an ethernet cable to attempt a firmware reload. Do you think it is a HW or SW failure? Do you have any procedure to recover it? or should I replace it with a new one?
