Good day,

Last week i purchased a new WIFI PCIE slot card. The speeds are very good - 420 mbps on 5GHZ.

But when i play games such as Apex legends or PES football it can be very unstable. Like in the noon it could be very steady without lag. But in the night i get a very laggy connection. Even when i am home alone this happens.

This only happens on my PC and not on other devices.

My router is a Archer C5400

I hope i will get a solution so i can still play wireless games without any lag.

Best regards,

Danny

I am experiencing the same problems, the wifi connection is great, but the ping spikes that happen every 6 seconds drive me crazy.

@Tobe_M

Have you tried Kathy_Z's suggestions to update the driver on the Windows 10?

What is the model number of the wireless router? Have you confirmed if other devices in the network are working properly when connecting to the router 5G network?
