Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.2.0 0.9.1 v0001.0 Build 200511 Rel.44954n

When I use Jio, I'm unable to send/receive SMS but It's working perfectly fine with Airtel. Please check below logs for your reference.

Have you ever checked with Jio, Do they allow send or receive SMS?

Yes I checked with jio, they allow to send and receive SMS. You can easly send/receive SMS with any 4G handset(currently in India JIO provides only 4G network).

Can you explain the cause of errorCode 56.

Sorry for the delay.

I am not quite sure what exactly the error code means.

But there is another thread that the user replied that when an SMS contains non Latin characters in the body, the characters are not parsed correctly and it is unreadable.

So not sure if they are related.

And we would like to follow up your case via email.

Could you please also help us check the following information:

  1. Is there any error message when you failed to send or receive the SMS?
  2. Could you please save the whole system log file and mail to me?

Hey @Sunshine , I didn't used any special character in SMS. It just contain test, but failed to send and also not received when try to send from other side.

Please find attached system log for the same.

I am facing the same Problem on my Archer MR600 with JIO sim but it works fine on Airtel and BSNL

@DeepVns @Sunshine I am also not able to send/receive message with my JIO SIM, howver I can be perfectly send with Vodafone and Airtel. Please resolve the issue.

@DeepVns @Sunshine Facing the same issue with exiting/new Jio sim. When I use the SIM with mobile handset, it is able to send/receive messages. But not with MR600.

Same issue with Hardware Version:Archer MR600 v1 00000001

It seems we are not getting enough support from this forum.is there any other way to reach tplink support ?
