Can't Update Archer C5 v4 00000004 Firmware
I have Archer C5 v4 00000004 (India) with firmware version 3.16.0 0.9.1 v6015.0 Build 190627 Rel.41124n
I downloaded the firmware Archer_C50v4_EU_0.9.1_0.2_up_boot[200608-rel66307].bin
But when uploading the firmware i get an error saying
Error code: 4503
The uploaded file was not accepted.
Can anyone help on how to proceed

Archer C5 V4 seems a customized version for Service Providers in the local market, which means the firmware of the router might be self-designed by your ISP. There seems currently no available firmware for it.

Thanks for the reply i purchased this router directly from a local shop it was not installed by isp.
I was trying to upgrade because the router wifi keeps disconnecting.
My isp has installed a GPON Box which handels the internet connection & this archer is connected to the GPON sometimes the archer will show no internet even when the gpon shows it has internet access i have to restart the archer, on reboot it works fine

May I know who is your ISP?
When the internet drops on the C5, does it show WAN port unplugged or any error on its web interface status page? Is the Internet LED orange or green?
Ensure the cable between the C5 and your GPON Box is good, try with another cat5e or cat6 cable if necessary.
Try to reset it to the factory defaults and reconfigure from scratch, then monitor again.

My isp is ION Internet. customer.i-on.in:9443
When the internet drops on C5 it shows orange Light & the web interface says no internet.
I'll try the reset way let's see

hi,
I have been having disconnection issue with 5ghz wifi. I have the same problem where i cannot upgrade the firmware which is not available on the website.
Firmware Version:3.16.0 0.9.1 v6015.0 Build 190627 Rel.41124n Hardware Version:Archer C5 v4 00000004
these are the details I have.
I keep getting "couldn't authenticate connection" on my phone while trying to connect to the 5ghz one.

Hello, thanks for bringing this up again.
How about the wired connection and 2.4GHz wireless connection, are they stable? When the 5GHz drops and shows a "couldn't authenticate connection", how did you connect to the 5GHz again?
What are those devices trying to connect to the 5GHz network? Try to change the 5GHz wireless channel to 1/6/11, the channel width can be 40MHz, change the security to WPA2-PSK, AES, then restart the router and your devices, try to connect to the 5GHz network again.
BTW, what are the devices connect to the 5GHz? Ensure they can connect to other 5GHz networks.

Hi, 5ghz has channels 36,40,44,48.
2.4ghz works fine but I get only 1/3 of the speed. and 5 ghz, doesn't connect even after I "forget the network" on my phone. I have to login to the router and reset it to get the connection back. Please sort this or give us a proper firmware update. If it cannot be sorted I would like to have this exchanged to a better model. I have been using it for over 6 days I am not happy with the product.

Are Archer C5 V4 and Archer C50 same?
I have Archer C5 v4 00000004 router, and am trying to upgrade the Firmware.
When I go to downloads I do not see this model Archer C5 AC1200.
When I choose Archer C50 V4 (Archer_C50v4_EU_0.9.1_0.2_up_boot[200608-rel66307].bin) and try to upgrade it is throwing
"Error code: 4503 The uploaded file was not accepted".
Help me choosing the right Firmware. This is not a ISP provided router, bought it @ Amazon.in - https://www.amazon.in/gp/product/B00XUE44X2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
