Model: Archer C6
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.3.5 Build 20200630 rel.57406(4555)

It happened within first week on installation, I was transferring my steam library over lan from pc1  to pc 2.

And suddely lan stops working, I restarted the router, it got fixed.

Then after couple of months I was scrubbing through some footages on another pc over lan, and it happened again.

I updated firmware, yet again it happened again. I've faced multiple instance of this and it is damn annoying! especially for file transfers

Should I get a replacement or can be fixed with Firmware?

and I'm also unable to set any other netowork band , other than channel5 on 2.4Ghz. This started happening with the introduction of one mesh!

@Kevin_Z BY LAN I meant local file transfer Sharing Files Between Two Computers Using LAN ' , from my pc 1 to pc2 .Has nothing

to do with internet!. And I am well aware of basic troubleshoots.  So modem has nothing to do either !

anways I checked system logs it was triggering DOS firewalls. so I have turned it off, seems to work for now.

@Phurr

Hello,

May I know how do you transfer the steam library from PC1 to PC2 over the LAN? Does this cause the router disconnect from the internet every time or only when you transfer large files? When the internet drops, how about the LED on the C6, is it red or green?

What kind of modem are you using? Is it possible to connect two PCs to the modem directly and perform this test?

Thanks.
