Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.1.0 Build 20200714 rel.30791(4555)

Yesterday I did the firmware update to the last version and since that moment the tether APP always get a "Time Out" error when trying to list de conected devices.

 

Is it a problem related to the firmware update or to the tether app version?

Hello,

 

May I know the phone OS and the Tether app version on it? Please try with different OS phones and see if it will display the clients correctly.

 

BTW, do you mean you updated the firmware of the C2300 and encounters this display issue? Are all the clients display correctly before the firmware update? Can you please try to reset the C2300 to factory defaults and reconfigure it from scratch, will the Tether app show all the connected devices?

Hi @Kevin_Z 

 

My smartphone is a Samsumg S10Lite running android 10, the Tether APP version is 3.4.7 updated on july 9 and running without any issue on the two routers I have configured on my network.

 

The issue (Time out listing connected devices) in the Tether APP appeared just after the C2300 firmware update.  Before it, all was working fine as expected including the connected devices listing. 

 

In addition I've got another router C3100 (version 2.1.0.0.9.1 v005f.0 Build 170927 Rel.57074n) and everithing  still works fine as there is no firmware updated.

 

It clearly seems a bug in the C2300 last firmware update.
