Model: TL-MR3020
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 1.3.0.0.9.1 v0001

Hello all,

I purchased theTL-MR3020 V3 in order to install it to my primary ISP Modem/router which is the Speedport Plus.

The Speedport Plus has the ability to connect LAN1 as WAN.

Scenario:

I want to plug in a 4G dongle to TL-MR3020 V3 and then plug in the TL-MR3020 using the LAN/WAN port to my SpeedPort modem/router.

I want to do this in order to use the 4G dongle as backup line of my primary line.

I tried to set up the TL-MR3020 as Operation Mode: 3G/4G Operation Mode with Ewan Backup but i did not manage to activeate the 4G as backup.

I spoke with ISP provider and they informed me that in Speedport there is no need to change something but i have to configure the TL-MR3020.

Is someone knows what settings should i do?

Thank you!!!

@Myron_A

Good day.

Why don’t you choose wireless router mode with 3/4G backup?

Thank you!

@Sunshine

Hello,

I can not use another router because my ISP does not support to use other routers. I tried and my line does not sync correctly...

Thank you
