Recently I bought Archer AX20 Router.

I was trying to transfer my current Archer C5 V2 settings on the new Archer AX20 router and I noticed something that I believe is a step back in terms of implementation.

When I tried to configure Security - IP & MAC Binding section I noticed that the whole interface has been redesigned.

For example:

When you add static binding (Binding List) you can't edit it like before but you can just delete it.

There is no possibility for batch operations as well and the status column is missing - you can't see if the entry is enabled or disabled:

This is very inconvenient. That was possible with the previous implementation:

And while I am talking about the previous implementation I mean for example the IP & MAC Binding - Binding List section of Archer AX50/C6/C5 and many other routers that are not the newest models.

Please consider bringing back these features - they were pretty handy to get rid of.

@Ivaylo

Hello, thanks for your suggestions.

Actually, the IP & MAC binding setting page is quite clear that all the rules showing up in the Binding list are enabled. While we will notice this feedback and take a look if we can re-design the feature in the foreseeable future.

Good days.

@Kevin_Z

Thanks for answering Kevin. I got your point, but the next question I would ask is: What would you do if you want to only disable static binding without deleting it (in case you want to reuse it at a later point in time), or just want to edit/change the MAC/IP address of an entry in the binding list (in case of a network/device change) ? ... Creating the entry from scratch ?

Please consider bringing back these options in the future FW releases.
