Model: Archer MR600
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.1.0 0.9.1 v0001.0

I bought MR600 few weeks ago.

I'm using Airtel simcard which supports 4g+.

I also installed beta firmware to manually select frequency bands(in my case band 3, 40).

When I hit save it connects to 4g+ and speed was amazing.

After some period of time, it automatically switches back to 4g(in my case it switches back to band 40 only).

When I check the band selection it still on band 3, 40.

Now I need to set both band to 3 and then change one band again to 40 in order to get 4g+.

I did checked my signal strength it was really good.

I don't know why it automatically switches back to 4g even 4g+ available.

Expecting a quick support

@Mathi

Good day.

Thank you very much for your time and patience.

The final 4G+ is the negotiation result between the modem and LTE cell tower, so it is not decided by modem only;

Have you ever checked the sim card on the modem to see if it would always stay on the 4G+?

By the way, when it happened, if you hardware reboot via power button/cord or software reboot the modem on the web interface, would it recover the 4G+ connection?

Thanks a lot!

@Sunshine Yes, if I restart the modem(both software and hardware reboot) it again connects to 4g+.

But it doesn't stays in 4g+.

I did checked with my mobile(both iPhone and Android) it always stays in 4g+(only issue in modem).

Let me know if you need anything else.

Thank you.
