My RE450 is being used to extend the wifi signal from our Freebox One router here in France. It worked great for a few months, but it's suddenly having frequent signal drops - strong signal for 10 seconds, then cutting out completely for 3 or 4 seconds before coming back to work perfectly for another 10. I updated the firmware, and continued experiencing the same dropped signal. It's making working from home extremely difficult.

 

I've attached a screengrab of a speed test that shows the signal completely bottoming out to help clarify what I'm facing. You can see it dropped out as the download signal was being measured, again as the upload signal was measured, and again while testing latency. 

 

Has anyone else experienced this, and more importantly, found a solution?

Good day.

Thank you very much for your time and patience.

Did your home router always have a stable connection?

And would all the devices drop the signal consistently?

Did both 2.4ghz and 5ghz have the same issue?

If possible, please change the wireless channel of the home router to be channel 11 for 2.4ghz and channel 40 for 5ghz;
