Deco M9 and Archer C7 with USB network drive
Hello,
I'm looking into adding a mesh network and am considering the Deco m9 plus.
Currently, I'm running a single Archer C7. I chose this router as it had USB for my network drive.
The Deco m9 plus doesn't have network drive capabilities in the same way the Archer C7 does. Is it possible, to use the Decos as access points, and have the Archer be the main router so that the USB drive can be broadcasted across the network? Or am I thinking of this wrong and there's a better option available?
Thanks!

Hi, thanks for asking.
Yes, you can add the Deco M9 Plus to the existing Archer C7 and configure it into an Access Point mode, they are compatible with each other.
However, please be aware that Deco can only build a mesh network with the Deco, it can't build a mesh network with the non-Deco devices.

@Kevin_Z are there plans to provide OneMesh compatibility the Deco M9 plus?

Unfortunately no, OneMesh™ and Deco Mesh are totally different technologies used on different TP-Link products, so OneMesh™ products cannot build a Mesh network with Deco.
