Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.2.0 0.9.1 v0001.0 Build 200511 Rel.44954n

Hi,

I'd like to use Adguard DNS servers on my Archer MR 600 router in order to block ads on some websites but can't seem to find how to set them. The default Adguard DNS are

94.140.14.14 and 94.140.15.15. When opening the router interface, I went into Advanced > Network > LAN settings. There, DHCP is enabled and I entered these 2 servers as primary and secondary DNS. Clicked save, rebooted the router several times. The servers still appear as primary and secondary DNS on the DHCP page but if I select Basic > Network map, I always get other DNS servers. So I guess it is not working. Anyone knows how I'm supposed to set the DNS servers on the Archer MR 600?

Thanks!

@kilou

Good day,

Thank you very much for your time and patience.

If you choose the DNS under the LAN settings, the changes would only display on the clients’ IP setting page;

And currently, there is no place to change the DNS on the WAN side, and it would automatically sync from the sim card carrier;

Thanks a lot.

Didn't mean to hijack this thread, but is there a way to set DNS server on MR600 with DHCP disabled? As I have other device handling the DHCP. TIA!
