Can I use 12V - 0.5Amp = 6W adapter to power my router? Will it work as expected or not? Also this router is dual band !

Theoretically, the Wi-Fi routers offer a compact size with impressive performance, which as a result requires a sufficient power supply. It is not suggested to use a power supply that lower than the requirements, otherwise, the performance and stability are not guaranteed.
