Hello,

I am new to all this and probably not as technical as I should be.

I bought a TP Link TL-MR3020 Portable Wireless N Router.

I want to use this to connect a media player.

I am in a location where there is WiFi .

What I want to achieve is to connect the TP Link to the Wifi and then connect my media player to the TP Link Router using a LAN cable.

I seem to have connected to the WiFi, but the ethernet port on the router is not LIVE.

Could anyone offfer me any advice.

Did you set up the MR3020 as the WISP mode, or Repeater/Bridge Mode?

What is the hardware and firmware version about the TL-MR3020?

After the setup, could you please send me a screen-shot of the whole status page on the TL-MR3020?
