@Locuaz16

Maybe they meant early January 2022? That seems to be the pace of this...

@Locuaz16  @boyne

We understand you need the Onemesh feature urgently, we hope we could respond better, but we are not the developer, so we cannot provide more than this. As mentioned earlier, the Onemesh firmware for AX11000 should be after AX6000, which should be available in one or two months.

@Kevin_Z you may not be part of the development team but you are the community representative. As part of that role, surely you should be collating information and feeding back community comments to the development teams to help prioritise feature deployment and bug resolution?

Your flagship router, a £500 device, currently doesn't support a basic feature that all of your competitors have provided. We cannot return these devices, so please could you do your job - communicate with the internal development teams - and ask them to provide the community with an ETA for the feature they've been requesting for over a year now.

@boyne

It is now the end of January with no new firmware in sight. What are we supposed to do now other than wait, like we've been waiting for a year now?

This is pathetic, that your top of the line router doesn't have this feature or wasn't moved to the very top of the list for development.

I for one, like many other purchasers of the AX11000 are sick and tired of the endless excuses. When is the new firmware coming?

@boyne

So "Late December or early January" has come and gone. It's now 14:00 EST on 1 Feburary 2021 and still no sign of the new firmware.

Was my last post accurate of the new firmware not coming till 2022? This is pretty deceptive and really unacceptable. Shouldn't your flagship router take precedence when it comes to development? Isn't that why, afterall, that this is a flagship, an example of the very best of what your company has to offer and can produce?

This is unacceptable for your customers who are stuck with these extremely expensive routers who have no recourse to return them for refunds. Also, have you ever heard the that old idiom that goes:

                                      A happy customer is the best advertisement. An unhappy customer is the best advertisement for the competition.

Many people purchased this router with OneMesh in mind and this is no way to treat a customer without any news or updates, let alone without providing the feature that was used to lure many people into purchasing this very expensive router.

Does anyone at TP-Link at least have the human decency to provide a response, since my last post didn't receive one?

@boyne Honestly this thread is the only reason why I am returning my recently purchase AX11000. Onemesh is such a great ideal but if its not gonna work for this router, then mine as well go mesh setup, and if that's the route then Amplifi Alien is starting to look more attractive.

@Kevin_Z

so when is this going to get released? Very sad to say that making a customer purchase a product and lack a key functionality for well over a year is sad, to say the least.

two threads and multiple angry customers seems to be the least of the problems when talking about your flagship router.

so once again when will this be released? Its coming as an upgrade to our already purchased routers right? Or is ir going to be for the next release and we need to purchase another one?
