Model: Archer C80
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.5.0 Build 201022 Rel.53112n(4555)

What does the new "HTTP Referer Head Check" option mean in the settings and should it be enabled or disabled?

And what is that option for?

Enforces a referer check, which will prevent cross-site request forgery (CSRF) attempts that try to remotely force a connected client into interacting with router’s page.

Usually this should be disabled if you're trying to remotely access the router and it's behind other router's NAT already (double NAT).

This option being set as default is annoying.

I didn't know about this and couldn't access my router using DNS lookup (archer.lan).

Yeah yeah security...
