@Ivaylo
yes, amazing was that connecting another port than the blue ones works perfectly with firmware 1.4.7. and the problem appears only after online upgrading the firmware to 1.5.0.

@peecee  @Ivaylo

Thank you both for pointing this out, we will surely check and confirm if this kind of difference will be applied to other models, as currently it seems that only the C80 1.5.0 version has this change.

@Kevin_Z I have this exact same problem. It keeps comming back. What in the end was the solution? I Saw something about that it had to go into the blue port, I already have that, but I am completely at a loss.

@Umbra

Hi, as far as I know, peecee's issue was resolved by connecting the modem to the WAN/blue port on the C80. Are you experiencing the issue even when the modem is connected to the blue port? Can we have more details again?

Who is your ISP and what is the model number of the modem?

Hi @Kevin_Z, you're right. Since I change the cabling, my C80 in Access Point Mode is again able to check for new firmware over the internet.
The functionality that I'm missing since I have the release 1.5.0 is :
- The list of the connected clients on the network map page (http://192.168.0.x/#networkMap) shows only the clients connected to the access point and no more all 192.168.0.x clients of the LAN. Same in the Tether app.
I hope to get in back in future release as there is no way to come back to 1.4.7
