Archer C80 problem with latest Firmware 1.5.0 Build 201022 Rel.53112n(4555) in Access Point Mode
Regards to all,
I am using a Wi-Fi Router Archer C80 in Access Point Mode and since yesterday as I updated the new (EU) firmware 1.5.0 Build 201022 Rel.53112n(4555) the network map shows an error as it couldn't connect to internet. Wifi Clients have nevertheless access to internet.
I tried to "Local Upgrade" the file from the previous Firmware Version: 1.4.7 Build 200907 : it fails, may be as it is a downgrade.
If I try now to "Online Upgrade" i'm also stopped as it has no internet connection.
Does anyone else have a similar problem?

@Ivaylo
yes, amazing was that connecting another port than the blue ones works perfectly with firmware 1.4.7. and the problem appears only after online upgrading the firmware to 1.5.0.

@Kevin_Z I have this exact same problem. It keeps comming back. What in the end was the solution? I Saw something about that it had to go into the blue port, I already have that, but I am completely at a loss.

Hi @Kevin_Z, you're right. Since I change the cabling, my C80 in Access Point Mode is again able to check for new firmware over the internet.
The functionality that I'm missing since I have the release 1.5.0 is :
- The list of the connected clients on the network map page (http://192.168.0.x/#networkMap) shows only the clients connected to the access point and no more all 192.168.0.x clients of the LAN. Same in the Tether app.
I hope to get in back in future release as there is no way to come back to 1.4.7
