Model: Archer C7
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 3.15.3

I have Archer C7 v2 FW: 3.15.3 Build 180114 Rel.39265n when I shut down my PC, the 2.4ghz stopped working..however 5ghz works fine. I tried reboot router and change channels.. still nothing.. in order to fix this issue, I had to turn on the PC..once I loaded into windows, 2.4ghz works again. Does anyone know why? FYI it happens to my laptop and desktop. Both different brand Lan chipset: Killer NIC and Realtek both on RJ45.

Thanks

@Enyceckk

This sounds weird.

Try to reset the C7 to factory defaults by pressing the reset button on its back panel until all LEDs flash off then on, reconfigure it from scratch, confirm again if the issue persists.

@Kevin_Z After updated to Openwrt custom firmware, the issue has been resolved. Maybe the stock FW from TPlink wasn't playing well with my current setup.

I see, glad to know it works, we may also keep an eye on such issue, will try to figure out if there is any issue with the firmware.
