As you can confirm, this adapter connects properly to the TD-W8960N signal, while it had an issue to connect to the HHG2500 stably, you are suggested to check with the router support to see if we can adjust any setting on it to improve the situation.
As for the adapter itself, you can try to update the driver to the latest:
Please check on the network adapters and see how many drivers have you installed for this adapter, if there are different drivers, remove all of them and install it from the Windows.
Then install the driver manually:

Are you using 5G network connection with this T3U Plus? BTW, what is the operating system of your computer, is it Windows 10? If this adapter can work properly with the TP-Link router, we assume both the adapter hardware and driver are working properly. If it is not working properly with the Vodafone router, you may check if you can modify the router wireless settings, such as wireless channel and channel width, wireless security, etc.

I'm using the 2.4ghz because i'm not too close from the router.
Yes, my operatori system is Windows 10.
Do you have any advice about the router's wireless settings?

Firstly, ensure you get a good signal from the Vodafone router, then to run a Wi-Fi analyzer to verify and find a clearer 2.4G channel, let's say, if most of the networks in your surroundings are using channel 1 and 6, then you can choose 11; Change the 2.4G channel width to 20MHz, then reconnect to the network to confirm.

What's the model number of the TP-Link router, how about the 2.4G settings on it? Does this T3U Plus connect to it properly?
What's the model number of the Vodafone router? How about the 2.4G signal when you try to connect to it on this Windows 10? Please be aware that if the signal from the router is not good, you will not have a stable connection.
Please refer to this guide to verify the Windows 10 system info and the driver version for the T3U Plus, show us the screenshots:

The model number of the TP-Link router is: TD-W8960N and the router's settings are in the screenshot (sorry for the different language). The T3U Plus connects perfectly.
The model number of the Vodafone router is: HHG2500 (i hope it's the right number, it was pretty hard to find) and the signal is very good always 4/4 or 3/4 wifi bars.
