M7200 V2 WPA2(AES)
M7200 V2 WPA2(AES)
Hi,
How can I get the m7200 to support WPA2(AES)?
My car will only connect secure networks. If I can't is there another midi/hotspot that supports WPA2(AES)?
Many thanks
T

@Ivaylo I have done this but it still shows on my car that it's unsecure...

Are you sure that's the latest FW ? On your car still shows the encryption as WPA-PSK TKIP. If it's the latest FW, try to reset the device and reconfigure.

@Ivaylo hi thanks for getting back to me. Yep I have the latest FW and o have reset and tried lots of combinations... But no luck. Maybe there is another device that you know 100% has it... ??

I've meant to delete the T-Network-Car saved network from your car and then search and add it again to see if any difference.

Please try Ivaylo's suggestions to remove the wireless profile on the Car, or you can create a new SSID on the M7200, then confirm again.
BTW, do you have any iOS 14 device? If yes, you may test the M7200 network on the iOS 14 as well, check if it also displays as weak security with TKIP. If not, that means the settings on the M7200 is actually WPA/WPA2-PSK AES, but not TKIP.

Have you resolved your problem ?
If you can get for a test M7200 v3 or M7000 v1/v2, that would be the best approach.
