Hi,

 

I purchased a couple days ago tplink xr500v ,I tried to set it up but it fails to get internet working ,( stuck at initialling and connecting) .

 

Vlan and pppoe settings are correct but some how the new firmware that came with my unit doesn't work .

 

My friend bought his router last year and it's working perfectly.

 

Goin serial is registered correctly (Huawei) but internet is not working.

 

can you please provide me the old version or help me the get mine working 

firmware: 1.1.0 0.8.0 v5009.0 Build 191203 Rel.70672n

Hello, thanks for posting on the TL-Link Community.

 

Archer XR500v is a customized version for Service Providers in the local market, which means the firmware of the router might be self-designed by your ISP.

 

Generally, the support for this customized version is thus covered by your ISP, and we suggest you contact your ISP to troubleshoot.

I have bought XR500V just in a shop for its voip functionality to use it on my home network and was told by TPLINK support that it is possible to use it without GPON WAN.

However current firmware does not allow to use anything else for wan than GPON. 

My Firmware Version:1.1.0 0.8.0 v5009.0 Build 180901 Rel.55568n Hardware Version:Archer XR500v v1 00000000.

Can I have latest version of firmware, please?

Yes Myself is facing the same the problem, did you find any solution for this...we have been facing this hardship & no one from the Technical team have the knowledge to rectify this.
