Hi,

 

Just asking the TLER7206 would have or not the multi nat net function. If not, which router will have this function ? Thanks so much.

Dear @JACKFOK, 

 

Both TL-ER7206 and TL-R605 support multi-nets NAT and it's on by default (no need to add Multi-nets NAT entries on the router anymore). Static Routing is still required on the Router and L3 switch. Here is a FAQ for your reference.

Even latest hw version of TL-ER6120 doesn't have multi-net NAT feature. Now it uses Static Routing with LAN/WAN interface selection, which totally OK for the same stuff. Omada routers will have it. (TL-R605 has it for sure, I have it.)

So my L3 switch will connect to the router and access to the internet. The switch have two VLAN interface and do the L3 switch need to configure the default route function ?

Also, do I configure the Static Routing on the router only for the two VLAN interface to access internet?

@Fae Sorry to comment on an old post, but I just bought the ER605 (TL-R605) to use in place of a TL-R600VPN. The R600 had the multi-Net NAT and it was easy to use as it had a stand-alone tab under the Transmission->NAT selection. The R605 doesn't have the same tab. I need to be able to direct which NAT is going out which WAN as I will have multiple WAN connections and need to direct the traffic accordingly.

 

So where in the menu structure of the R605 is the multi-net NAT configuration?

@macB It sounds like what you're looking for is now called Policy Routing.
