@Ivaylo , @Kevin_Z

Thank you for your advice. Even I didn't have much expectation, I did apply your advice and did a hard reset (method 1). It did nothing but steal another 20 minutes from my life. System log still progressing with lots of messages regarding access control (same as before), and the button in Security Settings / access control won't work. Any other suggestion related with spending much more time on the router? or should you give an alert to your "Lab" to resolve this ridiculous issue once for all.

@VfV

My suggestion will be removing the two WPA4220 from the network, only leave the Archer C6, then monitor the network stability again.

If the C6 is stable, then add the WPA4220 back to the network, but DON'T add them to the Onemesh network, monitor again.

Please verify if there is any difference. BTW, it seems you haven't install the beta firmware I sent you via PM, please check if that helps also.

Dear @Kevin_Z ,

Indeed I downloaded the beta FW you've provided, and the problem didn't go away. So I tried to reach local support. They provided me some other beta FW today. 1.3.6 Build 20201208 rel.52296(4555). I installed it today and will watch if there are any improvements.

Regarding TL-WPA4220 V4 EU, something really bizarre happened today. As I mentioned earlier, the official FW with OneMesh capability (wpa4220v4_eu-up-ver4-0-4-P1-20201023-rel31224-APPLC) disappeared from the download center a few days ago. Today, another official FW has been published (wpa4220v4_eu-up-ver4-0-4-P1-20210222-rel42127-APPLC), which rollbacks the OneMesh capability. :-) I installed it on both TL-WPA4220's to see if there will be any improvements to the WAN connection problem, and now the reason I bought Archer C6 has vanished, which is "OneMesh".

So what do you suggest? Should I roll back to the older FW on TL-WPA4220s (which now doesn't exist in the download center, but I have downloaded before disappearing)? Or should I leave it as it is?

By the way, I came up with an invention of a joke:

What possibly causes a TP-Link user to run out of toothpicks? (Answer: Doing hard resets)

" What possibly causes a TP-Link user to run out of toothpicks? (Answer: Doing hard resets) " - that's a good one :)

Actually hard resetting the device can solve many bizarre issues as practice shows - that's why it's often part of the troubleshooting.

Removing of the OneMesh FW for TL-WPA4220 V4 EU could only indicate, that these are not yet ready to support OneMesh feature.

Probably that's the reason for your C6 CPU to utilize at 100%.

If I were you, I would test and see if the Beta FW that the suppport provided for you can resolve the problem with OneMesh capable FW for TL-WPA4220 V4 EU.

If this was helpful click once on the arrow pointing upward. If this solves your issue, click once the star to mark it as a "Recommended Solution".

@MartinGr

Check the message I've sent you. Thus, I wouldn't recommend it. WAN instability did go away after I installed the latest update which doesn't include One Mesh.

Please note that it is for V4 (EU).

P.S. Local support told me that their R&D dept. decided to rollback TL-WPA4220 OneMesh capability without telling me the reason.

Hello, the WPA4220 v4 doesn't support Onemesh, so there is no official firmware for it.
