May I know the reason why you want to downgrade? This new 1.2.1 cannot be rolled back, while we will try to work it out if you are experiencing an issue.

@Kevin_Z

I have 1.2.0 installed, running in Access Point mode. I know that no One Mesh features are available in Access Point mode, and I don't have any additional One Mesh products or other extenders.

I experienced problems with Smart Connect and wanted to revert back to see if they go away.

The problems that i had were

- A Lenovo Smart Display (Goolge Home device) intermittently displays "Connecting" for long periods of time

- An iPad 2018 drops WiFi intermittently

I am currently running with Smart Connect off, and not seeing the problems again (yet).

@Kevin_Z

Hi Kevin,

I have a lot of questions.

I have been updated my AX6000(US) to a new firmware: 1.2.0

Troubles:

1. 2.4G reconnects every 30 sec. on mobile devices and Ipad.

2. 5G - Not working at all, can't connect from Notebook, SmartPhone and Ipad (Smartshare turnedoff).(UPDATE: connected for 4-5h, 5G network got "offline" - can't connect,after reboot I connected..)

3. Smartphone see the 5G network, the laptop does not see this network, I enter manually

I reset the settings, the situation has not changed.

are there any solution methods?

4.Can't understand why?

Request timed out.

Every 30-60 sec. got timeout.

Checked on online game,

got ping ~50-60-180-50-60-180. (I can't play normally)

UPDATE:

Changed the 5G network name, not worked with Networkname_5G, now works!

@Kevin_Z

Thank's for the update. Now have mine working flawlessly with a RE505X.

Had to factory reset the RE to get it to connect correctly, otherwise it wouldn't pickup internet for those devices that connect to it. Setup SmartConnect and 5g devices are picking up 5g band fine.

So far no complaints, the only issue I have is the TV now has issues connecting via ethernet? Seems to take a while for the connection to work when turning the TV on, picks itself up after about 30 seconds.

Apart from that it is fine. Have over 40 devices connected (Mostly smart home devices, a couple of phones and PC's).

Not sure if I've been one of the lucky ones, but have never had an issue with the AX6000. Been flawless since getting it, and even better now OneMesh works!

@PickaBoo

So the 5G issue is resolved after you renamed the 5G network? That's good to know.

As for the 2.4G disconnect issue, can you please if the Smart Connect is on or off on the AX6000? Is there a range extender in the network? If the Smart Connect is off, please try to run a Wi-Fi analyzer, review which 2.4G channel is clear, choose that one on the AX6000; Change the channel width to 20MHz, then confirm.

@Licky93

I'd like to try your configuration: could you tell me more about the settings?

- is SmartConnect on or off? - if it is on, do you get all 5G devices to connect to 5G band?

- what't the channel width for both 5G and 2.4G?

Can you check if you get any packet losses if you run a longer time test, e.g. using the Startrinity Continuous Speed Test tool (desktop client)?

Thanks in advance!

Ok, with 2.4 SOLVED. Now big problem with ping.

there is no extenders.

5G works on ch.49-40mhz.

and another one, my Alienware can't see the 5G network on the 2m range if I set from 149 ch.

Now big problem with ping.

What's this? Can we have more details? How did you test the ping? Any screenshot?

my Alienware can't see the 5G network on the 2m range if I set from 149 ch.

I assume this Alienware may not support band 4 channels, you may confirm this by changing the 5G channel on the AX6000 to 36 or 44, check if you can see the network.

@M____

I have all the WiFi settings/bands set to auto.

I can see 5G is transmitting on 36

and 2.4G is transmitting on 8

No issues with packet loss that I can see. Have ran CST for a solid hour.

Most of my devices are 2.4G (Smart home devices, lights, controllers etc.)

Phones, laptops and desktop all connect to 5G when I check, I have smart connect on.
