Hi, my current firmware version  is as follows :

 

Model: Archer C80

Hardware Version: V1

Firmware Version: 1.5.0 Build 201022 Rel.53112n(5553)

 

I see that there's a new version of firmware for Archer C80 v1 in tp-link support page here https://www.tp-link.com/my/support/download/archer-c80/#Firmware

 

Is it a new firmware? Because when i check for new firmware in my router admin page, it says no new firmware? But the firmware date for the new firmware in the support page is 4th February 2021? Please clarify. Thanks. Should i update the firmware or not?

@aceedburn  I was also interested and confused because the firmware version currently on my Archer C80 is "1.5.0 Build 201022 Rel.53112n (4555)"

That version is no longer in the firmware download section because they removed it, so I'm wondering why it was removed from the download section and if everything is okay with it.

And as you said the firmware "Archer C80 (EU) _V1_201003" which was published 2021-01-27 is currently the latest, but with it the Archer C80 cannot be updated for reasons unknown to us ...!?

It was said here on the forum that a newer firmware version for the Archer C80 should be released in a few days, so let's see when that will happen and what it will fix!
