This happens very frequently, and I have been reading in the TP Link forums that many people complain about the same flaw in other models of routers, apparently they have a BUG or problem in their software, since this is happening in small models medium and large, TP Link apparently has not given an effective solution to this failure, could you help us correct this serious situation?

@eclecticnetwork Hi, I receive email from TP-Link technical support, they recommend to set de the transmit power in middle, in bot wifi5 and wifi6 settings, working together, I just give a comment, that before make this new settings, the router restart today two times, one earlier in the morning, and at mid day, but this time without the log of clear all stats because the time is changed, the last restart was almost 4 days ago. TP-Link tech support recommend a new firmware upgrade 1.3.0, so the sent to me the link to download, and do the upgrade, so I perform al this recommendations and the firmware upgrade, the router wakeup with the new fimaware, but the problem is that some of my wifi5 devices couldn't login to the 2.4GHz wifi5, I'll leave it like that to verify its behavior, and see how long it lasts without restarting itself. If perhaps the router returns to present the same behavior as before, I will have to leave the same configuration that I had in 2.4GHz only wifi5 and in 5GHz only wifi6 with all other functions of wifi6 disabled.
Thi sis the email:
Dear Customer,
Changing the transmit power to Middle with wifi6 and wifi5 mode together is ok.
Here is the latest version of the official firmware, if changing the transmit power does not fix the problem, please download and install this version to see if it solves the problem.

Just to confirm, are you encountering any disconnect issue when connecting to the AX21 network? May I know who is your ISP?
When the internet drops on the AX21, how about the internet LED on it, is it still green or orange?
Have you confirmed this with your ISP also? Please connect the computer directly to the ISP modem, check if it can maintain a stable internet connection. If yes, please try to clone the PC's MAC address to the AX21 by connecting this PC to the AX21 LAN port, then monitor again.
Please also confirm if you have enabled auto-reboot on the AX21, try to disable it, then confirm.
If the issue persists, please kindly send us the whole system log, including those before and after the dropouts, our engineer with try to investigate.

Hi Thank you for your response, this outage isn't by the ISP, because I made the test that you suggest to me, having a computer conected direct to the ISP modem, and when the outage happen on AX21, the computer still have internet, before this AX21 I had the Archer C2 AC750, in that scenario if the ISP modem fails, the Archer C2 never shut down the wifi network, but in this case with the Archer AX21 AX1800, it reboot complete, the only logs that I can capture are as I added on the beginning of this report. By my understanding is, if you have a outage on the Ethernet WAN interface, the system must keep working, not make or apply a complete itself reboot. The other question here is, why this reboot event is related with clear all traffic stats, and then reboot?
I already had disable the auto reboot.
I powerd off all wifi6 features.
I already had disable the Internet IPv6
I already had disable the Qos
I already had disable Parental Controls
I already had disable the internet time NTP Service.
All this ti lightened the work to this router, but is keep happening the same problem. For me as a customer, being pragmatic, this is like some bug, because I have been reading this situation is happenings to other customers with other recent routers TP-Link models, the AX6000, AX3000, AX1800, AX1500.

@ktsiang The NTP is not the problem, in my AX21 the NTP is still working as original, it doesn't have a new firmware update available, and I made the test with and without the NTP, that I observe is, if I disable all the wifi6 features, it work fine and stable, with wifi6 disable is not presented the restart by itself and there is no more the log of clean all the stat because time is changed. So this router have been sell as a wifi5 and wifi6 cable, and yes it do the wifi6 features, but the bug is that it generate a lot of statistics errors because it have a problem with wifi5 and wifi6 working together, I have many wifi5 end point in my house almost 35 domotica devices, and just two wifi6 capable end points new iPhone12 and iPad Pro 2020, so this router can't perform well both versions of wifi5 and wifi6 together, it suppose can be, but it is behave not reliable.
If I enable ifi5 and wifi6 features together it auto restart 3 o 4 times per day.
if I just enable wifi5 and disable wifi6 features it work stable and it had more than 24 hour without auto restart.
So this router can't work fine with wifi5 and wifi6 together, but I decide to purchase this model because this feature, wifi5 and wifi6 together without problems or any failure.
The statistics logs must be automatic overlapping, to avoid saturation in the memory.
by any other reason the router must not auto restart.
TP-Link please I ask you fix this bug, I what the AX21 work with wifi5 features and wifi6 features together without any failure or auto restart as advertised.

TP-LINK :
Dear Customer,
This is Ives from TP-Link support center to help you with your problem.
The automatic reboot issue may be caused by some specific clients, could you please tell us all wired and wireless clients connected to the router? If you disconnect all clients, will the router still reboot automatically?
Are you using the power adapter that came with your router?
Could you please log in to the web interface of the AX21(tplinkwifi.net), and go to "Advanced" > "Wireless" > "Wireless Settings", then change the transmit power of 2.4G and 5G Wi-Fi to "Middle"?
Please observe whether the AX21 will auto-reboot after that.
We look forward to hearing back from you. If you have additional information or feedback to provide, please let us know.
Best Regards!
My answer to TP_LINK:
Hi thank you for your response, all the information you request is explained on the thread, I have just two wifi6 devices, just this this two the route suddenly reset, by my understanding and requirements, I want a router that don’t kept reset often or every time so often.
And I explained too, if I disable all the wifi6 features, and just the wifi5 is enable, it works very stable, and don’t reset, so that I look here, I suspect that this router is not capable to handle both standards, wifi6 and wifi5 together or at the same time.
I have 25 demotic end points, in wifi5, 5 wifi camaras, 12 wifi lights, 3 wifi switches, 5 wifi thermostats, 3 display tvs, apple tv, 2 windows 10 pcs, 1 network player for music. iPhone 12, and iPad pro 2020, all this working fine with wifi5, but if I want to have the wifi6 features, at least for the only 2 wifi6 devices capable that I have, witch are iPhone 12 and iPad pro 2020, the router reset every time so often, and I want that the router works fine with this scenario because as tp-link advertised.
Since I configures just with traditional wifi5 mode, the router has almost 3 days without any restart and working fine, but I don’t have the amenities of wifi6 in the iPhone 12 and iPad pro 2020.
Please fix it as soon.

Middle with wifi5 and wifi6 together? or just wifi6 devices? it suppoouse that you have a laboratory where you can probe many scenarios, I can do that you requiest to me on this last response, but I want that you guive us the root cause and the fix, not to ask to the customer test again and again, yo can guive to the customer the right configuration as an effective solution, istead not ask to the customer test and more test just to see what happend. Pleas send us the root cause and the effective fix. The router must not restart by itsell, where other older router by the same brand is stable.
