Good morning,

 

I've just bought an AX3000 router and installed it, but I'm having really slow Wi-fi 5G speed, more or less 380 mbps...
My ISP provider speed is 1Gbps/100Mbps.

I'm testing it with Galaxy S10 (Exynos ver)  and laptop with card Broadcom BCM 4352 2x2.

As galaxy s10 is capable of wifi-ax I've configured 5ghz band as 802.11a/n/ac/ax mixed mode (have tried all modes) but even next to the router it never allow download speed higher than 380mbps in s10 on 802.11ax  or in laptop on 802.11ac

I have done factory reset, installing everything with and without tether app, but nothing works. Before sending it back to Amazon, could someone help me?

FYI, w/o Tether app it's more or less the same.

on my side, there(s could be huge diff between servers on ookla speedtest. 

 

else, if functionalities such as WPA3 or mesh may be of interest, I would advise to send it back to Amazon since this router will never provide them.
