Tried with a different device - Razer Blade laptop with an Intel AX200 network adaptor, this one seems to switch well. RE605X is placed mid way to the dead spot.

Presume we may get a firmware update relatively soon to support 802.11k and 802.11r as detailed in below doc for Samsung devices:

Are you on 2.4Ghz by chance? After updating to "official" SW I constantly have drops on 2.4Ghz.

No, Both machines are connected to 5Ghz

Hi, have you had a chance to reset and reconfigure the router? If that doesn't help, we would like to investigate the issue further via email, please check and respond, thanks.

Hi, do you mean the 2.4G is not stable after updating the router firmware to the latest official? Is the Smart Connect on or off? You can try to run Wi-Fi analyzer to review the 2.4G wireless channels, choose one that with less congestion, then monitor.

Hi, the AX11000 Onemesh does support 802.11k and 802.11r. As far as I know, the Samsung Galaxy S8 may not support it, you may check with Samsung support to confirm.

correct Wi-Fi is not stable at 2.4Ghz I have devices constantly getting booted off. Specifically Amazon echo devices.

I do not have smart connect on and it was the official latest release.

I went back to an older firmware before this one mesh stuff. I'll wait for you guys to sort out the bugs before I update the FW again or I'll wait until the router shortage ends and buy something else.

Samsung's below link suggests both devices (Galaxy S8 & Galaxy S21 Ultra) supports both networking protocol:

https://docs.samsungknox.com/admin/knox-platform-for-enterprise/kbas/kba-115013403768.htm

from xda forum:

https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/which-devices-are-compatible-with-802-11r-fast-roaming.3762262/

Not sure if onemesh would be of any advantage if handheld devices are not supported.

Hi I have AX11000 and 2x RE505X setup on mesh with a number of legacy devices on 2.4ghz and high speed devices running on 5ghz ax.

I have 4 Echo Dots and 1 Echo show that all appear to be stable on the current network.

If you would like to mirror some of my settings to help test your setup then please let me know? yes
