Model: Archer MR600
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version:

It's hard to pretend the MR600 V1 is still being supported (if it ever was). Most of us stuck with beta software to fix critical issues but that's defective in many other ways, with no prospect of further updates.

It's time for TP-Link to help port one of the open source firmwares to it, DD-WRT or OpenWRT. That will offer some hope of fixing the some of multitude of annoyances this router is cursed with, or turning it into something useful like a WiFi repeater for those of us that gave up and replaced it. Some because, for example, I don't believe sometimes getting better reception with aerials removed is a likely to be a software bug or that pathetic signal sensitivity is fixable in software.

This device has been a disaster from the start and TP-Link need to give it a proper funeral, having left it to die of neglect.

So no reply from TPLink, no surprise about that, this POS router was DOA.

Perhaps we need to discuss refunds for a router that has NEVER worked properly and now NEVER WILL?
