Firmware Version: 0.9.1 3.17 v0001.0 Build 201214 Rel.67500n

I am using Router model TL-WR845N, I am using act fibernet internet connection which has speed upto 80 mbps through cable.

But I am receiving only 20 mbps through wifi.

Any help or suggestion in this regafrd to achive the better internet speed?

Hey Ravi

 

That Access Point is a 2.4ghz device with a maximum of 300mbps speed due to it being WiFi4, in reality, the maximum you are likely to see is around 140mbps..  however as you say you are not getting that.

 

Can you confirm what device you are connecting to the AP with?  also what is its wireless card?  

 

It could well be that you are connected on a N 150mbps card and therefore that is limiting you, 300mbps.  WiFi4 cards are not that common at 300mbps.

 

Also try changing the channel manually, stick to 1   6  and 11 when testing.   I would also set the channel width as 40mhz to get the fastest speed possible.   Retest this and see how it goes :)
