hi

im having trouble with getting emails from a work account when connected to Deco- please see photo to see wha happens. 
as soon as I connect to 4G the emails come through. I can also receive emails from a gmail account but this exchange account cannot seem to get anything while connected to my wifi through Deco. 
many suggestions very welcome.

The only thing i can think offhand is the following

 

1 -  Try reconnecting / recreating the email account on the device

2 - Ensure you have no filtering / parental controls on the Deco as this can stop email if configured sometimes.   THis is quite a common one

@Philbert thanks for the reply. 
I havevtried deleting and reinstalling the email. 
there aren't any filters or parental controls on at all- no kids in the house. 
many other ideas?

Switch your Deco mesh to Access Point mode to see if problem will go away.

@Alexandre. Thank you.

This seemed to work for that particular email, but unfortunately, it meant that noting else seemed to work properly-Netflix wouldn't pick up anything, no other websites could be used or email accessed.

 

Any other suggestions would be wonderful!

When Deco mesh runs in Access Point mode, it only provides WiFi signal. The network is managed by your ISP router. Meaning: issues with accessing Netflix or websites are extremely unlikely to be caused by Deco mesh running in Access Point mode.

 

Power off all Deco you have, enable WiFi on your ISP router and see if problems go away. If they really do, perhaps you should consider returning Deco units and try with different brand of WiFi mesh.
