Model: Archer AX10
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.1.6 Build 20210108 Rel. 60533(4555)

Hey folks.

The AX50 supports LACP according to the documentation, while the AX10 does not.

BUT, when using the search function, it actually shows the submenu, where the LACP is supposed to be.

Clicking on the link does nothing, the HREF is "lanAdv", and there are no network errors on load.

Is it possible, to get a firmware update, enabling LACP support for the LAN, via the frontend?
Or is this just a leftover from the same frontend used for both the AX10 and AX50?

I dont really wanna bother with doing LACP from the switch side, since i will also need trunking and spanning tree, and its an old TP-Link switch.

Hi @ku4eto, as terziyski pointed out that the AX10 doesn't support LACP, and the web GUI may not update accordingly to the specific firmware. We will remind the R & D to update that in the future versions.

Sorry that we don't know much about the hardware and firmware limitations, so we will not know if the AX10 hardware can support LACP actually, but the situation is it doesn't have LACP on the current firmware. If you do need this LACP feature, you need to find one that already supports it, such as AX50 or AX6000.

@ku4eto

AX10 doesn't support LACP. Probably it's just a universal WebGUI guidance for AX series devices.

It's highly unlikely this model will receive a FW upgrade with LACP feature since it's an entry level device from AX series.

You should have in mind that even on AX50 the implemented aggregation is not an LACP, but just a static link aggregation.

More details about the hardware in question.

@terziyski

Yes, i know its not officially supported.

But in terms of HW, it should. There is no reason why it shouldnt.

It looks more like a "tier feature availability".
And i see no reason also for the AX50/3000 to support LACP only on 2 specific ports, instead of any. Unless the ports are wired differently, which would not make much sense.
