Model: Archer MR600
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: Build 201204 Rel.66940n

Good evening,

I used to be on version 200511. After upgrading to the latest firmware 210608 with ISP file 21052700, the internet connection has been constantly disconnecting and switching bands.

Since then I have downgraded to the previous version, 200511, I have even switched to beta Build 201204 Rel.66940n in order to manually select bands and this still happens.

My carrier is Cosmote, Greece. I'm starting to believe this is a problem with the ISP file, but unfortunately I cannot switch back.

@BaLuX

Any update? I also have disconnections Cosmote Greece with apn vpn-internet with default isp 18101801 and Firmware Version:1.2.0 0.9.1 v0001.0 Build 200511 Rel.44954n .

I didn't try any isp or FW update yet.

@gogoulis hello,

I'm back on 1.3.0 0.9.1 v0001.0 Build 210608 RC.66100n and the situation has somewhat stabilized. However the speed is not good.

And of course there is still no band selector on this firmware. The router always chooses either Bands 3,7 or Bands 3,3 for a reason and it seems it can't find any ideal combination of bands. Another problem is that Greek SMS messages can't be read.

It is true that there are a few beta firmwares allow band selection and/or reading of Greek SMS but nonetheless the band selector seems to very buggy and often makes the router freeze.

I am waiting for the next non-beta firmware where it's claimed that it will have band selector and the SMS fix. If it's not out after a month then unfortunately I'll try to find another router since 4G data plans are very inexcusably expensive in Greece and I can't waste mine on incompatible devices.

Take care
