Problem in connecting with Vodafone 3G Modem ZTE K-3770z

Model : TL-MR3020
Hardware Version : V1
Firmware Version :
ISP : Vodafone
I am unable to stay connected with the vodafone 3G network. As soon as the ZTE K-3770z connects to the network, the system logs show that after successful authentication,
it gets automatically disconnected :
1st day 00:01:13 3G/4G NOTICE 3G/4G connected
1st day 00:01:14 PPP INFO got_sighp, Hangup (SIGHUP)
1st day 00:01:14 PPP ERROR Send_phase(PHASE_MODEM_SHOW_DOWN)
Subsequently :
1st day 00:01:15 PPP INFO got_sigterm, Terminating on signal 15
1st day 00:01:15 PPP ERROR User request
1st day 00:01:18 3G/4G INFO 3G Modem is plugged out.
and it refuses to recognises that the modem is plugged in.
Has anyone faced a simialr problem and been able to resolve it.
