Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: V1.0.10

Hi guys,

I want to know from where I can change default http port to access the router which is 80 to something else. I have an app which uses port 80 and it is conflicting with my router ip.

When I try to access that app via port forwarding it is opening my router page. So I though if I change my router default port from 80 to 8080 then I will be able to access my app on port 80 without any conflict.

App -> http://192.168.0.10

Archer C6 - > http://192.168.0.1:8080

Can someone please help me with this. I am not able to find settings to change default web port for router itself.

Thanks.

@IPSecGuy

I doubt there is a setting to change the port of the Archer C6's router webpage. At least on the TP-Link routers I have worked with there is no way to change it.

Are you trying to access that App, which is running on a device with IP address 192.168.0.10 inside your network, from the Internet? Do you access that App via "http://[your public IP address]"?

Edit: I just noticed that in the old TP-Link GUI that was used in their routers until roughly 4-6 years ago it was possible to change to port for remote management (GUI access from the Internet).

@IPSecGuy

Change these settings on your router and check if that works for you:
