I set my TL-MR3020 to AP to act as a repeater to boost my wifi signal in the living.
My TL-MR3020 is able to ping the main router but there is no internet access (no Internet light) on
the TL-MR3020 . The main router ip is 192.168.1.1 and TL-MR3020 IS 192.168.254.0
I followed exactly the instructions on how to configure the TL-MR3020 from TP-Link website and
everything seems ok except no internet. Can someone please help and advise.

Main router IP: 192.168.1.1
TL-MR3020 IP: 192.168.0.254
If you have put in the same security settings as your main router, change 3020's IP to 192.168.1.254, save and reboot it.
Log into 192.168.1.254 page, go to system tool/diagnose, and ping your router IP 192.168.1.1. If you can ping through, it means you set up successfully.
But if no internet access, you can power off TL-MR3020, try your internet with your main router.

Thank you for the advice. I change MR3020 IP 192.168.1.254 , restart it but there is still no Internet Light on the MR3020.
Since the repeater and the main router must use the same SSID, how can we verify our device is connected to the main router
or repeater. Can I use a different SSID on the repeater. Thank you.

Hello,
I have the same problem and i don't know what's the cause.
The MR3020 don't need to be on the same network as the main router... nothing is stated on the instructions about this...

Did you the cause and a solution?
