Hi,

My set up is as follows, VM Modem Upstairs running through a WNDR3700, downstairs is a WNR2000, I've just purchased the PA511Kit but not really sure on setting IP addresses and connections. I have the 511's communicating with each other.

That's about as far as I've got, all the devices that were connected to the WNDR3700 have IP's allocated:

IP Address: 192.168.1.1
Subnet: 255.255.255.0
Starting IP: 192.168.1.2
Ending IP: 192.168.1.210

Allocated IP's run from 192.168.1.2 to 192.168.1.23, the WNR2000 was originally allocated 192.168.1.18 but I've tried various IP's and none seem to work properly, it is currently allocated 192.168.1.200 (this is why I currently have the Ending IP range set to 192.168.1.210, it would normally be 192.168.1.23). I think the problem is the settings in the WNR2000, really not sure how to set that up.

Anyone good enough to tell me where I'm going wrong or talk me through the proper setup please?

I also have another setup to do at my Brothers, that is slightly different in that there is a ADSL Router\Modem downstairs and an Netgear Router upstairs.

Regards & TIA

Craig

:confused::confused: sorry///but i have to say :confused:
if you are connected two routers in the same network, i suppose both routers having the DHCP enabled by default,
so one of them should be disabled the DHCP in case they would fight to assign IPs for clients...
does not seem to be a start and end IP issue/

put your network diagram here to let people get a clear idea.;)
