Hello
My USB Modem HUAWEI E173 not work as well with TL-MR3420
Its lose Identify every almost 15 minutes , and try to Identify again and some times not successfully until I reboot the unit .
then its Identify successfully , after some minutes the problem happen again and again .
I think its from the router software issue that it have not the correct driver of the modem .
also , the signal of the wireless not that good like the other routers which I used before .
please help me to fix this problem and make sure to fix these problems at the next software that will release soon .

any way its look like I found solution
we must update to the last firmware for HUAWEI E173
and I found that software who can make your modem all updates

and the problem will stop to your modem connection

you may refer to part 4 about how to correct the disconnection problem in the link here,

Finally I found the solution
1. Choose “3G only” as Internet Access.
2. On “3G” Page, choose your region and your ISP, then double check if the default parameters (such as APN and dial No.etc.) are correct. Contact your ISP for this information if necessary. To manually type in, please choose “Set the Dial Number and APN manually”.
3. Plug in your 3G modem card, restart the router. Wait for a minute or two. See if it can work normally and get on the Internet.
4. If the above attempts won’t get the card to work, Please go to our bin file center ( http://www.tp-link.com/en/support/3g/ ), download your modem’s bin file if there is one available. Then upload it to our Router.
