Massive wifi failure
Region : Argentina
Model : TL-WR1043ND
Hardware Version : V1
Firmware Version : Latest
ISP :
Hello everyone,
Currently i am experiencing problems with quite a few TP-Link routers.
I have deployed about 40 TL-WR1043ND routers at people's homes in the last 2 years. About 20 of these are having problems with their wireless signal.
This problem started when their neighbors got fiber internet (it just got available in the area). The modems supplied from the providers seem to be "jamming" the wifi signal of the tp-link routers.
The wifi signal from the tp-router simply disappears. When the routers are configured at the same channel as the fiber routers the wifi signal does not disappear, but it's slow.Using any other channel will result in the wifi signal disappearing. The wired devices work without any issues.
I suspect there is something wrong in the firmware which is causing the routers to fail.
Is there any way this can be resolved?
The firmware versions differ between the routers.
