Archer AC 1750 v1 port forwarding
Good Evening,
Since a few weeks, I'm experiencing huge lags when playing the game World of Warcraft. Even if I think my connection is fine (It's happening only with this game and my connection tests provided some decent results).
To see if it make a difference, I decided to open the port used by the game. According to their documentation, they are 1119, 3724 and 6012 (both TCP and UDP).
1. I connected to the GUI of my router.
2. I went to DHCP > Address reservation where I put my IP and my MAC address taken from the DHCP client list.
3. I clicked on Forwarding > Virtual Servers > Add New...
4. Then for each port, I filled in
Service port: 1119 (rsp. 3724 or 6012).
Internal port: (empty) <- I tried also to filled in the field with the same value as the service port.
IP Address: My reserved IP.
Protocol: ALL (since the game provider said the ports need to be opened for both TCP and UDP).
Status: Enabled.
Common Service Port: --Select One-- (so I didn't touch this field).
5. I rebooted the router.
To test what I did:
6. I launched the command window with admin rights.
7. I typed "netstat -ab" but the three ports didn't appear in the results. So I conclude they aren't correctly opened.
Thanks in advance for your help,
Thibault
