Future Consideration Deco app missing "Internet Speed Test"
I recently purchased the Deco X20 to acommodate a 1gig fiber install. I was referred to the Deco X20 by a friend who has a similar setup. On his app he is able to check the speed of the main Deco remotely via his app when he goes to more, and then internet speed test. My app does not show that feature. Is it hidden somewhere in the newer version of the app?

Agree how they decide on removing one of the most useful tools in the app. Installed M5s in 2 other homes and found this feature very useful to check the speed directly from the provider router. Now that I used X55s in my home and without this feature, kinda wishing I just stuck with the M5s

@xaviisbetter funny, I did that too. I did splurge for the new wifi 7 version, but has native speed testing built in (and tracks it on its own, even reporting if it sees issues). Orbi had this too, but I only saw a friends version.

@bradyjfrey When saying "did that too" do you mean you sold your tp-link and bought Eero with wifi 7? Just curious what model has the built in speed test.

@Johnline sorry that wasn't clear, I returned the TP-Link to Amazon in time for a refund (took 30 days for them to verify, oddly). I purchased the Eero Max 7, it has built in speed testing with two 10 GbE and two 2.5 GbE ports. The 6E version also has built in speed testing too, but only 1GbE ports. Native speed test screenshot is attached, it runs straight from the router (my AT&T fiber modem confirms).

@Johnline Hehe, they just brought Fiber into my area-it is certainly overkill. I went from Comcast (1Gb down on a good day, maybe 100mb up) to this, and oddly half the price. We are very lucky.
