Model: Archer A2300
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: !.1.1

I have an Archer AC2300 & i am trying to set it to Static ip.

It is connected to a Virgin Hub 4 1000mbs

If i set it to Static in Advanced/Network/internet using same ip as listed in dynamic mode it will no longer connect to internet despite it showing as ok on Status page?

Tried rebooting both hub & router with no effect.

What am i doing wrong please

@Fahl

Why do you want to use a Static IP on the router Internet page? Basically, if you are able to obtain an IP address from the Virgin Hub 4 automatically, there is no need to use a static one.

@Fahl

If your ISP provides you with a dynamic public IP address then you can't use a static WAN IP address configuration.

If that's the case, for a port-forwarding to work, you should configure NO-IP.COM account and bind the this account to your router - see details here.
