Model: TL-PA8010P KIT
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version:

Last week my CPL network went down for no reason. (It had been working fine for 6 month)

Since then i've been having a lot of connectivity issues. Fluctuating brandwith and sometimes even 5 sec disconnects.

I have no idea what seems to be the problem as i have restarted many times but still have the issue. One weird thing i realized on the TPLink software is that it very often shows the TL-PA8015P on the PC to be "broadcasting" rather than the one on the router (And sometimes that changes...) as you can see in the screenshots:

7877 is the Router connected CPL, 706E is the PC connected

Any advice on why / how i could go about fixing this would be awesome ...

Note: My network is made of 2 TL-PA8015P (Router and PC) and 1TL-PA4015P (On the TV)

It seems that when i disconnect the 2nd TL-PA8015P(The one on PC) the TV works better ...

Hello @Zyg101

Thank you for your detailed post. From the 2nd picture you provided, powerline rate between TL-PA8015P (Router) and TL-PA8015P (The one on PC) is only 6mbps only,  it might be caused by some interference in the powerline or poor powerline environment, you could try

  1. Try a different wall outlet for extender
  2. Try to remove the things that may affect the power environment:

https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/409/

3. Confirm powerline devices are on the latest firmware version
(select Hardware according to the back label of device before download corresponding firmware )
Firmware for TL-PA8015(FR): https://www.tp-link.com/support/download/tl-pa8015p-kit/

TL-PA4015P (On the TV) or TL-PA8015P (The one on PC) which is the one that has stability issue?

By the way, powerline unit that tpPLC Utility computer is currently connected to,  that certain unit  will show as the one that 'sending data' to other powerline units in the tpPLC Utility.
