Model: Archer C54
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: Firmware Version: 1.4.6 Build 210112 Rel.56401n(5553)

My router came pre-installed with Firmware Version: 1.4.7 Build 210310 (or Build 210301, or 2103xx, I can't recall exactly)

I navigated to the website and updated to what I thought was the latest firmware Archer C54(US)_V1_210112, to my surprise my the version number went from 1.4.7 to 1.4.6 and the build number went from 2103xx (xx Mar 2021) to 210112 (12 Jan 2021).

Can anyone explain what is going on here?

Is the latest version just missing from the website?

I'm honestly not sure what happens for the 1.4.7 version, but I seems cannot find that one. Is your C54 a US version or an EU one? You can find that on the router bottom sticker.

As far as I can confirm, there will be a new 1.10.1 version released soon, you can check for the updates on the router web UI or find it later on the official website:
