Ok so I have an IOTAWatt device setup on the AX6000 to default to *.*.*.201 in the Address Reservation.

 

Then I have Onemesh configured to a RE505x and the IOTAWatt device is connected to the RE505x.

 

When I check the ipaddress of the IOTAWatt device it doesn't honour the address reservation. It gave the device a *.*.*.200 

IP address. 

 

Does Address Reservation work on a Onemesh network or have a found a feature?

 

AX6000 config

IOTAWatt connected to the RE505x that's part of Onemesh

IOTAWatt device IP address that I can see on the AX6000

@Rudolph I have the AX6000 and a RE605X connected by OneMesh and reservation seems to work ok here.

 

In your AX6000 the 0 in the IP address looks a little different, could it be an O and not a 0 maybe?

 

 

EDIT: Perhaps it wouldn't even let you enter an O thinking about it.

@Rudolph How many Onemesh range extenders are you connecting to the network, and how are they connected? Please provide more details as you can, we will confirm if there could be an issue.

Have AX6000 with 2 x RE505x devices connected to OneMesh connected with the normal WIFI bridge connection.

 

Strangely when I remove the devices from OneMesh the Address Reservation works fine. It's only when I add the

devices to OneMesh that the address reservation doesn't get implemented.

I see. That sounds abnormal. As far as you can tell, the MAC address of the IOTAWatt device doesn't change when it is connected to the extender network, right? We have reported the issue to the support engineers, they will likely reach out to you via email to continue to troubleshoot your issue.

@Rudolph Yep that's why I asked. Never seen this on any of the devices. I will remove the devices from onemesh when I am done working and send 

the screenshot of that to show.

 

Don't know if there's anything more to send. Most prob something someone else will have to test or see if there's other reports.
