Settings for VOIP on Omada SDN
Hello,
after setting up some outgoing telephone connections, there is a connection but no tones are transmitted.
I need advice on where to make settings for VOIP on Omada SDN.
Network setup:
- Speedport Smart 3 as modem
- ER605 router
- TL-SG3428X 24-port switch
... connected to ...
- OC-200 Controller
- EAP 620 access point
- AVM Fritzbox 7362 SL as telephone system (landline telephone, DECT telephone)
Settings made so far in the Fritzbox:
- Internet -> Access data -> Internet access:
- Connection to external modem or router
- Share existing Internet connection (WLAN mesh / IP client mode)
- Telephony -> Own telephone numbers -> Telephone numbers:
- Entry via the wizard, provider Telekom
- Telephony -> Own numbers -> Connection settings -> Telephony connection -> Change settings:
- Keep port forwarding of the Internet router active for telephony: 30s
The above problem does not exist with the Linphone softphone (SIP client) installed on my smartphone.

In this document you can read:
- Set up static port forwarding in the router from any UDP ports >= 1024 (e.g. 6078-6097) to ports 7078-7109 of the FRITZ!Box.
- Set up port forwarding in the router from UDP port 5060 to port 5060 of the FRITZ!Box.
I had used the instructions without success. The problem was using 6078-6097 among others in source port.
The solution (ER605 via OC200):
Settings -> Transmission -> NAT
Step 1
-> SIP ALG
Disable
Step 2
-> PortForwarding -> Create New Rule
Status: Enable
Source IP: Any
Interface: WAN
DMZ: Disable
Source Port: 7078-7109
Destination IP: IP address Fritzbox
Destination Port: 7078-7109
Protocol: UDP
Step 3
-> PortForwarding -> Create New Rule
Status: Enable
Source IP: Any
Interface: WAN
DMZ: Disable
Source Port: 5060
Destination IP: IP address Fritzbox
Destination Port: 5060
Protocol: UDP
Afterwards I uninstalled the softphone Linphone, installed and configured it again.
Use SIP Account
Username: +49PHONE NUMBER
Password: Customer centre password
Domain: tel.t-online.de
Protocol: UDP
It works correctly, now. It does not matter whether the Fritzbox is connected to the switch or router. You could also use the softphone AVM fon directly on the Fritzbox.
Many thanks to @Fae and @Obrenner! Your information showed me the right way.

I need advice on where to make settings for VOIP on Omada SDN.
Here are the suggestions for you:
1. If possible, try plugging the telephone system into the front modem router directly, to verify if the VOIP works bypass the ER605 router.
2. Try to disable SIP ALG on the ER605 router if it's enabled, vice verse.
The above problem does not exist with the Linphone softphone (SIP client) installed on my smartphone.
When you use the Linphone softphone installed on your smartphone, is your smartphone connected to the Omada EAP wirelessly?

Dear Fae.
Thank you for your responce.
Telephone system: Settings -> Transmission -> NAT -> ALG -> SIP ALG (enable/disable): No effects, not working
Linphone softphone: Yes, it's connected to the Omada EAP wirelessly.
Settings -> Transmission -> NAT -> ALG -> SIP ALG (enable): Working
Settings -> Transmission -> NAT -> ALG -> SIP ALG (disable): Not working

May I confirm how is the Telephone system connected to the ER605 router in detail?
Is that possible for you to connect the Telephone system directly to the modem (bypass the ER605) for checking?

The telephone system is directly connected to one of the ports of the ER605.
The ER605 is needed to establish the Internet connection. Therefore, the telephone system cannot be connected to the modem.

Hello,
I will try it. Thank you.
Maybe you could, with a phone connected to the Fritzbox, call the following phone number.
Time announcement: 040428990
With my smartphone: Works.
Via Fritzbox: Connection is established, but no sound.
