Archer AX73/AX5400 issue with 2.4Ghz network after firmware update
My Archer Ax73 updated itself to firmware v1.2.0 Build 20211222 (witch, strangely, it's not listed in TP-Link firmwares' page) and now I'm experiencing an issue with 2.4Ghz network. Intermittently, all my devices connected to 2.4Ghz network get disconnected and can't connect again unless I restart the router, or the wireless network at least.
I just noticed it after asking my Alexa some command and she told me the devices were not answering.
Everthing was working fine for months before this update.
Here some attempts I did trying to solve this problem:
- Enabling/Disabling Smart Connect feature
- Enabling/Disabling OneMesh network
- Changing wireless parameters such as potency, channel, channel width, mode, etc.
- Restoring the device configurations to a previous backup
- Performing a factory reset and reconfiguring it manually
None of this attemps solved the issue.
I also tried to downgrade firmware to v1.1.0 Build 20211119 rel. 46484, but the router says "Upload Error".
The reason why I decided to open this thread is because I don't know what more to do.

I have same problem, after enabling OFDMA all my 2.4 devices are disconnecting after several hours. Restart helps, but only for several hours. Disabling OFDMA do not help to fix it. Please fix it or give us a workaround.
@shx Do you mean the issue occurs once after you modify the OFDMA setting on the router? Is the router model Archer AX73?
It's suggested to reset the router to factory defaults then reconfigure it from scratch since we are not sure now which modifications may cause the issue.
Can I also confirm what are the devices that connect to the 2.4G network? How about the devices connecting to the 5G, are they stable?

Yes, that what I meant. Yes, it's AX73. My 2.4 devices are mostly smarthome light switches, and yes, all 5ghz devices are working normally. Yesterday I downgrade firmware on it and then update it again, since then it's working stable, but I need to test it longer, to be sure that it helped.

TP link support sent me an email with a beta firmware for my Archer C80 and by now (3 days) the wifi problem is gone.

@Lavis That's great news, glad to hear the issue gets resolved by disabling TKIP security. Can I know is there a reason to choose TKIP for the 2.4G network? Are there some old devices that require that?

@Kevin_Z there is the problem that in latest firmware is not possible select choice WPA-PSK with AES encryption. Available is only with TKIP
