Model: Archer A5
Hardware Version: V4
Firmware Version: 0.9.1 0.2 v009b.0 Build 181213 Rel.551 56n(5255)

I cannot connect to my router from internet though I've done everything in accordance to instructions, i.e. router has its own registered domain name given by noip.com and remote control ip-address is set to 255.255.255.255

I can connect only if I connected via a local net typing 192.168.0.1 or it's domain name in a browser. Is it possible to connect from internet?

Have you already verified your router is being assigned a public IPv4 address?

If the WAN IP address happens to be a private or otherwise reserved IP address, then you can't just simply connect to your router from the Internet.

Private/reserved IPv4 addresses are those within the following address ranges:

10.0.0.0 - 10.255.255.255
172.16.0.0 - 172.31.255.255
192.168.0.0 - 192.168.255.255
100.64.0.0 - 100.127.255.255

Aint domain name and public ip the same thing in this case? If not, how can I assigned a public IPv4 address? Now I have a domain name of the form ******.hopto.org and an address of the form 93.73.99.***

No, they are not the same.

Anyway, go to the Status webpage of your A5 and check the WAN IP address shown there.

If it is 93.73.99.***, then you should be good to go and your problem is caused by something else.

However, if it's not, then it can't work this way and you will have to do more to make it work.

Good.

Have you already tried to access the A5 router from the Internet by typing http://93.73.99.***:80 ? (make sure the IP address is indeed the one of your A5's WAN and the port is the one you configured in the router)

By the way, what does your Internet browser say when it fails to connect? Most modern Internet browsers will give you a ton of warnings before they actually let you visit a non-secure website over the Internet.

Yep, I really tried, but to no avail. The browser says that the page is not available, i.e. ERR_ADDRESS_UNREACHABLE

One more thing you could try is to change the "Web Management Port:" in the A5's Remote Management configuration page to some other number, in case that your ISP is somehow blocking port 80.

For example change it to 8080 and then try to access you router via http://[your WAN IP]:8080

Else I have no more ideas.

Changing the port number, alas, did not give the expected result :(

Perhaps it's very unlikely, but can you check if you may have activated the DMZ host feature (in the menu "Forwarding") at some point and later forgot about it?
